Diluted Earnings per Share

Can be calculated by adding all potentially dilutive securities to the denominator of the basic earnings per share calculation.  For example, unexercised stock options or warrants would have to be added to the denominator for a this number could be calculated.  Net Income divided by (Common Shares + Unexercised Stock Options and Warrants).
